About Our Hunts
We offer fall season black bear hunting. This takes place from August 15th- Mid September when camp closes its doors for the season. Bears this time of year are trying to pack on the calories for the upcoming winter. With temperatures typically moderate. Hunters can expect ranges from 40-80 degrees Fahrenheit during this timeframe. At this time of year temperatures are beginning to drop in the evenings, which is great for getting the bears up and moving. As well as knocking down many of the flies and mosquitoes that still linger from the summer months. Hunters will be transported to one of our strategically placed sites, where they will be placed in 12-16ft ladder stands. Hunters can expect to sit in the afternoon hours until dusk, typically about a 6 hour sit. After your sit we will transport you back to the camp where you can enjoy the remainder of your evening.
